h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Jim,how do you feel in your whole life? have any regrets? do you satisfy with your present life? I dislike my present life and want to change it, but i can't! I feel my present life are boring and tedious, but i must repeat it every day!
Although I clearly know that life is full of ups and downs, I still feel so boring now. Jim, your life experience is much more than me, what do you think my present life?

beleive me yours cant be as repeated as mine.

i get up every day at 9am, then have a wash and shave, make a drink, and the next hour or so i do the active emails and h2g2, then about 12 midday i have dinner, then watch anything on tv if i have to stay in.

if i can afford an hour on the pc, then i go to town, then home, have tea, and then till about 1am,i watch what i can find on the tv, worth watching.

your days have to be more interesting than mine, you get to meet people,i see the same one,s each day,lol jim

It is very tiresome to stay alone in the shop every day, although you can meet
different people every day,but they are just the passing traveller,not your friend, furthermore I have no the fixed time to rest every week, I must work at the shop every day.

Your life is ease and comfortable, if I can like you in my 60 old, I think the life will be ok

i try to win a small amount each week on ours, but it never happens, im not greedy, i dont want millions, just 450 pounds for only 3 of the 6 numbers would get me it. but i get two now and then lol.

dont you have a really good friend, you trust, that would be willing to buy into the shop with you, as a partner, then you could take it in turns to have some free time.

Although there are many people buy lottery tickets, but I hardly buy any lottery tickets, because I don't think I will be so lucky. I hope you are lucky and win the lottery one day

You do right to say so.in fact, I have had a partner for the shop, he is my cousin, but he works at other job, he can't work at the shop. Of course,I could employ a shop assistant for the shop, but there is a little profit a month in the shop, it can't afford to employ anyone. Unless I can find a job, then I can employ a shop assistant instead of me, but I can't find a job till now, I only work at the shop by myself

Today I suddenly remember the movie--"Forrest Gump", I saw it a few years ago, I downloaded it, I'm going to brush up it. It is a good movie and inspiring, not only can I see my favourite movie,but also improve my English by means of the movie, I'll kill two birds with one stone.

It doesn't mattter, we are not necessarily talking on the on msn, just like that on h2g2 is all right.

"if you are here, i can see with you" , I mean we can watch TV together if you are living in China. I feel a bit horror if see the horror film alone, especially at night, it feels much better if there is someone with you

ive had the worse 24 hours ive had in a long time, one minute hot, then the next ide be like in an icebox.im only about 80% better, still sniffing, and couching now and then, but at least the fever seams to have gone, and my eyes are watering, and best of all the drums in the haed have stopped.lol

to see a doctoor in england, we have to make an appointment, it can take two or three days to get a day to go, in most cases if like flue, by the time you see a doctor the flue as nearly gone.

i just wait it out, i get one ever year, starts with the hot and cold fevers, just keep warm,then the sneezing and blocked nose, and now its the tickley couch, which keeps me awake most of the night,along with the runny nose. jim xxx

Oh,I see! that is no necessary to see a doctor. but if you still feel sick in a few days, you must see the doctor!!!

flu is bitter with these symptoms, but I hardly catch a cold one time a year, once I unfortunately catch a cold, I'm just sneezing,blocked nose and coughing, I can work normally and didn't feel bad I hardly suffer from any disease from a baby besides catching a cold, I'm always in good health, but once a person grows old, he will be easy to fall ill, I'm afraid that I will be in bad health in the future.

being 60 it affects older people in more ways, a cold can be flue or even phenmonia without warning here,

yorkshire as been flodded out, so the atmophere here is damp all the time, and in some cases the smell off the fields is bad.

we are being hit bad this year all ways, the foot and mouth that kills cattle as returned and some farmers are wiped out, some are still coping with the flooding of fields, so no crops can be sown, for a long time. jim xxx
