Why not turn your homepage into a guide entry and write something about yourself in the space liberated?
That way other researchers who want to find out about the authors of anything they find on the guide can do so.

Ok, so your page is more interesting than mine.
I didn't want the space to sit completely 'fallow' so I put something in there from an art book that sits on my desk.
I have only so much personality to express in the form of web content and so far h2g2 has gotten a low priority. Yeah! Actually I am going to add in something a little more original, if not more interesting than the bit about "berkely no. 52" which was more of a typing excercise than anything else.
