Its amazing how one afternoon can change one's impression of Fate. I've always thought of her as rather fickle and cruel, but now I am forced to admit there may be method to her madness. I find myself suddenly more contented and happy than I have been in a very long time, all because of a stroll around a lake and through an aviary. Thanks, Doug. We must do this more often.

Life treating you as well as it sounds?

I definitely can't complain. In fact, I could spend many hours going on about how much I can't complain, but then I think I'd start getting complaints, so...

Except for the fact that I would have loved to have seen you sooner. Ah well, spring will work as well I suppose. And how is the darling little one I occassionally get to type to? I do hope that she's enjoying school this year. Give her a for me.

She has started 6th grade, junior high & all the angst that accompanies it. I will definitly give her a from you. She will be so pleased that you asked about her!
