Not so bad, thanks love - am just chilling out with a beer before bed. Have had a long day working and then sorting out the hotel garden, I'm making a wildlife garden in part of it and it's a *lot* of work!

You don't fancy coming up and doing my garden...do you?
The puppy has totally trashed it....I've got sticks
coming up from the ground, where beautiful shrubs once stood

Yes I can, as long as I can rip the whole thing out in order to attract more of our feathered friends. I can't promise to put it back together again afterwards, though

I was growing things to attract butterflies.... with having cats... I think that it would be very unfair for me to invite our little feathered friends into my garden

I've got Zebra finches out in the shed and they are all sitting on eggs

Have you? Fantastic, they're really cute little things - do you breed them then?

Yes...this is my first year for breeding them. I have 3 pairs and they have laid about 10 eggs
I'm planning to breed Rosella Parakeets, budgies, canaries
and other types of finches too

Blimey, do you sell little guides to all the animals and charge admission? That's quite a menagerie!

I've thought about that
I have a habit of taking in waifs and strays...pets that people have got bored of...
The finches came from the Isle of Sky...
one of the cats followed us home for 2 miles and just moved in...
Another cat was an abandoned kitten and I had to bottle feed him.
One of the dogs was a rescue dog, he was found at New Brighton pier with his legs broken.
The others where free to a good home
