A23836683 - The South West Coast Path: Land's End to Penzance. Since I dropped out of my PGCE, I've had time for such things. I just wanted to let you have a look before I put it in Peer Review.

That is fantastic, a very worthy addition to the set of Entries on the coast path. Great job, and when I get down that far, I'll use it as my guide for the day I always hoped others would add their own sections, so I'm really, really happy you've done this! I actually wrote a journal on the project at F1900573?thread=3633498. If you have any photographs taken on the walk, I'll ask Annie to add one before it hits the Front Page.

No need for a co-writing credit for the opening paragraphs; it's just nice to have that bit the same on each Entry as general info.

Excellent, I'll add some links this afternoon and hopefully have it in PR this evening.

If you do make it down this way, my advice is to do the walk Penzance to Land's End. It means you can start earlier in the day, you have a nice long bus ride to recover from the walk, and getting in and out of Lamorna tired isn't fun - it really is a pain in the ass, I was surprised the path took the route it did. Plus it means Land's End is something to look forward to, rather than just a tacky disappointment.

I described it Land's End to Penzance to keep it fitting with the other entries, but I'll never walk it that way again.

I would definitely put that in the Entry, that you'd recommend walking it in a clockwise direction if tackled as a day walk. Traditionally, the Coast Path is walked in the direction Minehead-Poole, so that's why I've done all mine that way. If you think it's better done the other way, though, that would be great advice for day walkers
