Sorry, I had to start cooking dinner. You know that proper cooking, where you don't just stick a ready meal in the microwave? That's what I was doing smiley - nahnah

Anyway, that's great.

What I'll do is get editing rights, which means you will no longer be able to make any changes to your Entries. Then I'll go through everything with a fine toothcomb and post back here if I have any queries. Then I stick them all in PR and see what happens smiley - winkeye

Yes she done DID some proper cooking !!! Atleast once. My wife and I enjoyed a perfectly done quiche and add-ons, ALL done by the Lady Venus' hands. I watched very closely for packaging and such that suggested nuke times, etc.

She even made us a full and proper smiley - tea service after. Our very first night in Engerland, and all the most gracious of hostessing. Take a glimpse at my "Every 20 years or so" journal, and you'll see what this Lady is capable of. Oh, and her journal of "Visitors Across the World" too. Poor dear, we did leave her in a hurting state.

Just one question so far:

'This species originates from Scandinavia, it's found at the base of the Alps mountain range.' (from A29232632, Lapland Marsh Orchid).

But the Alps are nowhere near Scandinavia. I'm sure you must mean the Swedish mountains. Can you check that one for me?

I think you can also find that orchid in Ireland, so could you check that as well, and if so suggest a line for me to drop in?

Okey-dokey! Going along the link bar thingy from the left, I've finished the first three. You can tell which ones I've done, because on the link bar thingy there is no link to the Entry you're reading at the time. If you look at A29232632, you'll see I've taken the link to Dactylorhiza out, which means I've done it. Just in case you wanted to keep track smiley - smiley

Yes, i'm going to keep track. smiley - smiley

I can't find anything at all that will confirm the Lapland Marsh-orchid being present in Ireland.
I'll do the Scandinavia thing when i get home, that was an error on my part smiley - doh

Right me duck, thanks to you finding some info i've altered the paragraph. I've also done the Scandinavian bit that i made and error on smiley - doh

This orchid was first discovered in Scotland in 1967. It was first thought to be another form of Western Marsh-orchid or Narrow-leaved Marsh-orchid. It wasn’t until 1988 when the mystery was solved. This species originates from Scandinavia. It is found at the base of the Alps mountain range around France, Italy and Switzerland.

This orchid is found in a few places in Scotland, where it likes to grow in acidic soil, alongside Black Bog-rush and Common Butterwort. Also in parts of Northern Ireland on the Garron Plateau, Co Antrim and on the Isle of Skye. It prefers low altitudes at the base of hillsides, where the soil is acidic and moist all year round. The populations are small, but seem to be thriving.

Anymore things just let me know. smiley - ok
What you've already done looks good so far.smiley - smiley
