You certainly have, but it's a shame you don't know it. You really miss out on an excellent sketch.
Even my boys are fans now, it unites all generations and brings them together in front of the TV at least once a year.

Hi Rich, I sent the clip a bit earlier.
Have you seen the comment on the YouPlayer thread?
Guess I'd better keep my mouth shut in the future.

Oh, I know, but what do I make of the 'almost natural flow', eh?
Btw, I've searched a bit and found the Dinner for One (Germany version) split up in five clips here:

It's well worth watching.

So I did, but not long enough.
Oh, I meant to ask my son for that website he recently told me about when I didn't manage to send my 20+ MB clip. Must think of asking him when he's back from school.

How's it all been around here, anyway? I thought vp's comment about the group being quiet was quite hilarious
Nice to see you re-applying to the Subs as well
Gotcha !
aka Bel - A87832164 Posted Feb 15, 2008
It was funny, but then there wasn't really much to say in the group anyway, and I thought it best not to clutter it up witzh chit-chat.
Hootoo's been down for most of Wednesday night. It started in the afternoon, and early evening I started to panic and get Plan B ready for EMR, so that we would have a Post on Thursday, no matter whether or not the site was back before that.
Re-applying as a sub was one of my mad, spontaneous ideas.
I had talked about the lack of active sub-eds with Icy the other day, then ST mentioned it in an email last night, so I went and looked at the coming-up oage - and that convinced me.
So, did you holiday turn out as expected then? From your journal I gather that you had a great time?
You said you're not happy to be back, but I don't care, I'm happy that you're back - so there.

I'm glad you re-applied, you know. I thought you did a great job while you were with us, and hopefully you'll be welcomed back with all due speed
The holiday was fantastic. It was like a big family reunion; we knew a lot of people on and around the beach - locals - from last year, and it was as exciting to arrive as it was heartbreaking to leave. I'm going to try to write a series of articles, as I said, and I'll submit them all when they're done - there will be enough for them to go straight into Regulars, so you'll have the first read I *am* glad to be back, in a way, but I made so many close bonds out there very quickly that it's difficult to find myself at home. There seem to be so many more things that I miss than things I'm glad to come back to. One of them is that I'm glad to see you again though

All the nice things you say.
Thanks, Rich, I do appreciate it. I wonder if there's something in the air today, though, everybody's so lovely to me today.
I'll look forward to your reports then, your guide entries were fascianting, but what you'll rwite for the Post will be more personal and -well, different, I'm sure.
And I do understand that coming back to cold weather and all the (sometimes frustrating) work is nothing you looked forward to, and it will take a while until you're *really* back.
Which reminds me: there's an entry you mut read:

I'm nice to you every day, aren't I?
I'm planning to write a series of part-essays, part-travelogues - originally I thought of writing one each in sort of complementary opposition to the EG Entries I wrote last year, but that would be impractical. I prefer writing for The Post these days, to be honest, and if I can get them right they'll be among the best I've written. If
I have seen that Entry, but I haven't read it properly yet. I have a tendency to trust Parrferris's writing without question...

It's picked and all, that wasn't why I gave you the link. I just thought it would remind you of some things you'd like to come back to.
I think even your beer club was linked to from the FP - or is it this week?
And I agree, I really enjoy the Post most of all the writing aspects of hootoo right now - and I don't really expect it to change.

Skankyrich [?] Posted Feb 16, 2008
I've barely been able to look at clotted cream since the Cream Tea Challenge last year
Apparently the Horse and Groom was linked to from the FP all last week, but I missed it. I saw Derek's posting about it, but too late...
I'm so glad you're so into the Post. I really did think it was your kind of thing, and I think we make a really good team. It was so heartening to see you and lil giving Em so much support in the last issue. We just need to get you having a play with the FP now
