I didn't know there was a soprano pipistrelle! And Devon must be
heaven I think...
Yes, you're right of course, love: not forgetting as well...

Now you're talking
Lets do a runner on a narrowboat and do all that - you can and
and I'll...
... count things, it'll be great!

Sounds good to me! A fairly slow runner, mind, (trying to remember if the top speed is three mph or slightly less)

Well, I'll just have to count things slowly then, I'm sure I'll cope. Anyway, you don't paint things as they go past at 90mph, do you?

Hello Sounds interesting! I'm just about to go to bed; I've had a really stressful day - this http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/4955362.stm happened to affect the hotel, so none of our staff got paid today. As well as all the other day-to-day stuff, I've been trying to sort out emergency payments - the bank basically said 'don't cancel their wages, ask them to wait until Tuesday' but people have rent and bills to pay. We just about had enough in the safe to tide people over, it was a bit like the bank scene in 'Its A Wonderful Life'!
Having one last cold one so I'll be around for a shortish time

Thanks - you know those days when someone asks you if you want a and you almost fall over with gratitude? It was good to feel that a whole lot of people had a sudden crisis, however small, and I was able to help out. I solved 14 people's financial problems before they even realised they had them

Never are, are they? So what was the evening all about, then? Sounds like the sort of thing we never see in Devon!

HSBloominC is my bank too
Oh the happening? Very strange evening to do with people's memories and things from childhood gathered in different rooms - not sure it affected everybody as strongly as it did me
I played a harp (or tried to) for a while as there was a nasty sound of doors creaking a la Hammer Horror movies and I thought the music would counteract it...obvious tendencies
