Just popping by after seeing your postings on the God thread. I find your input very interesting. I've been on that thread off and on for a couple of years but these days only stop by there every now and then.
But I thought I'd extend an invitation to you to have a look at my h2g2 friends photo gallery and ask if you would like to join us there.

Oops, just had a closer look at your Personal Space - didn't realise your age. So of course I wouldn't be able to put your photo in the gallery without parental consent.
Because the gallery is a journal entry (and I wouldn't actually want it broadcasted on all of hootoo) I tend to send out invitations to people I come across on threads who I find interesting and who I think might be interested in joining us.
Anyhow, even if you can't have your photo up, please feel free to join in on the thread. It's a 'total drift' thread, with everyone just talking about whatever they feel like. Nice way to meet new researchers.
Take care, and see you on the God thread.

I would love to have my picture on your album, and I don't think my parents would mind, but I don't actually have a digital picture of myself. We're so backward, we haven't got a digital camera or anything like that. Sad, but true.

Don't feel backward - we just bought a digital camera last week (and still have to figure out how to use it!)
Did you ever check out the photo gallery? I think it's quite nice to put a face to the name. And I've had quite a good response to it - up to about 240 photos now. Just thought you might find it interesting, even if you can't have your photo in it at the moment.
keep well,

I did check it out. Quite interesting, and a really good idea, I must say. It's a testament to the vast diversity of hootoo, also. There are so many different people here, that it's quite amazing. I don't know if that's due to the wide-reaching popularity of Douglas Adams, or just that of the World-Wide Web. Interesting.

Sorry to hear you cried over something said in the "God" threads. Your writing skills are phenomenal, on a professional level, therefore you are easily perceived as an adult.
I consider the source of a comment first, to determine if it is worthy of my emotions, then I can choose how to feel about it if anything at all.
Well, I'm not here to preach or teach, just to say hi and that I think you're doing darned well. Don't let anyone rock your boat-it's seas of pablum and oceans of bate out there.
Key: Complain about this post
