Well, just me, in fact but it is sort of official business, so here goes.
Firstly, we were wondering if you'd be up for a spot of Polishing in the near future. It's not that there's any immediate crisis, but we are in pretty good health at the moment and it's looking as though it's going to be quite a big job next month. So I was going to have a nudge of one of our most trusted and cutting-edge Polishers *butter butter* and just see, you know, er, how she was getting on (not hassle, honestly - I know you're busy )
Secondly - there's been a bit of Post/UG overlap (about which I can't be too specific at this stage because it's still not gone through the whole of the UG process). The last issue? I'm hoping you'll know which one I mean (curse these vows of secrecy ). Given quite how many goodies there are on offer from this particular source, it seems likely that there's more than enough to go around - but we just wanted to know if you and Shazz were keeping an eye on voting in the Pig and Slag, so as to try and avoid doubling up if we can.
Offical business over *phew* - a happy hootiversary from me!

Crap, I could swear I was keeping track of the Pig and Slag! My apologies - I think we might try to feature some of that author's poetry in future issues, though, so hopefully that'll reduce any potential risk of overlap (though I'll keep an eye out now!).
I'll be up for a very limited amount of polishing for the next couple months, though I could probably manage an entry or so in each of the next couple rounds. When the play I'm assistant-stage-managing closes in November I will have vast reserves of time in my hands with which to polish.
Thanks!
