Ummm, Roadkill, that's a GREAT name! Can I have it if (um) something happens to you? I'm really enjoying H2G2, as I am using it to temporarily avoid the study I need to do (even though it's hols).
I'm studying Bachelor of Computing Science (Comp Sci to most)and have about twelve months to go. Cheers!

Ahhh, computer science eh? I have a friend doing that, he tried to teach me about strings and variables in javascript and Perl, but I didn't really get very far . I know a bit of HTML though, but so does everybody.

By the way, if you know XML, then the Guide's markup language, GuideML, will probably come a lot easier to you .

I seem to have stirred up a little trouble in the Assassins Guild, and am currently in the torture chamber. If I expire under torture, can I come back as a ghost? Just asking - (but I should be tricky enough to escape somehow)

The best way to find out the answer to that question is to read a bit of the backlog in the thread you're in. If ghosts have happened before, then I don't see why not.

But I should think you can come back as a ghost, yes .
