Off again.

Well, I lasted a whole 6 months in this job, which is something of a record for me. I am beginning to wonder if the problem lies not so much with the idiots that I always seem to work for, but with my inability to tolerate their incompetence.

I fear it may well be a failing on my part.

Aah well. Another job quit, time to start looking again. I will probably go through another short period of exiastential angst, wanting to know what the hell I'm doing with my life and why it has no direction, but that's what us Generation X' er's are supposed to do, so hell, why not enjoy it?

Party time!

Ok, Ok I know I'm not supposed to be here today, but i couldn't go away for the week without going to the B'day party, could I?

Anyway, the weirdest thing has just happened. I've just been telephoned by the Kettering Information Bureau.

Sap rising

God I love it when the weather starts to get warmer!
Goodbye winter, I give myself over unabashedly to freckles and shorts and would like to announce the passing of "first short skirt day of the year".

No, not me....

All those pasty winter legs and midriffs are making a long overdue return to the streets! Hurrah and buns for tea.

So sad.

This is terrible.
I'm barely here at all now. Just a fringe visitor. Blub. For those of you interested in the life of a poor sad little researcher, my new job is not so well paid, but not as inherently evil as my previous one.
I do however miss the opportunity to have interesting and well-informed discussions about anything from the existence of God to the existence of Pork Pies, with the lovely fluffy virtual community that is H2G2.

Mmmm. Must be getting sentimental in my old age....smiley - smiley
