Rather sadly, I spent most of it programming. I was going to go off for a weekend of caving in Yorkshire, but that fell through (and it was raining pretty heavily as well), so I'm off this coming weekend instead, as well as my usual Wednesday night digging trip in Wales.

I've usually had it on in the background whenever I've been online, but hadn't seen either of your incarnations up there for a few days. I thought you'd been giving it a rest for a while.
I must admit, I tend to go to bed somewhat earlier when you're not online, and in the past often I have been about to go when you've popped up for a chat, so it would only take you connecting slighty later for me to miss you completely.
(PS I'll probably be off caving again tonight, hoping it's slightly less 'interesting' than last week was, what with minor rockfalls (ouch), and my mate suffering from a mild case of premature detonation. Maybe chat tomorrow?)

I've been traveling a little (I'm in crappy old Boise, Idaho at the moment), and holidays and nonsense and more of the same..computer also being b*****y...But um..I apologize for not being sociable. I think my computer has been running again long enough that I'll bother to install Trillian again, etc. when I get home..and um..jesus, I'm incoherent. 3 AM in a house full of mormons will do that to a person...

Hi sweetie.
Things are not too bad in general - I've realised I need to lose a little weight (especially after overeating at Xmas) but have started off with uncharacteristic willpower and hope to see results reasonably soon, and I hope to incorporate some kind of fitness program as well. I *may* be going skiing for the first time ever in a couple of months, so getting back into peak condition would be a good idea.
Jobwise, I'm still waiting to hear from the games company I saw at the start of December, so I guess at best I'm on their reserve list in case the preferred candidate declines the offer. Regarding the other job, things are still progressing, if with the expected (and understandable) slowness.
How are you. Are you ICQ/Yahooing much at the moment?
