one of my brewing experiments has produced this lichorish 8%ABV black liquid?????
today i get to try to rectify the error
water, sugar and hops, 4litres of, brewed up,
1litre of the black stuff and a champagne yeast
give it a fortnight and maybe
on the up side i have 4 bottles of wells burning gold ale in the fridge along weith 20 cold cans of p*ss
so i will have no problems sleeping tuesday night
not another week off???

that dark stuff sounds fine to me as it is! I really must try and start brewing again... Not done it since I was a kid... Just a bit of a faff to get started as I've not got any equipment I'd need

on top of that i now have 5l of mead and 5l of apple juice and cider yeast bubbling away
