You are most welcome sir.At the moment we are in spring as summer doesnt start till 1st december.

We have a thermometer in our loungeroom and it said 30 degrees at 9am but it is also very very windy and that doesnt help except for the washing i have out on the clothes line.hahahah

Gee what a life i have on my days of(housework sucks)

We are having a lot of rain so the temperature is around 26 degrees.

It is indeed difficult when you have a young family - my experience is that it gets easier and easier !!!!

I shouldnt complain i love my life and wouldnt change it for anything and befor i know it my kids will be all grown up and i will be grey from all the worry that they will put me through and since both my kids are girls it will just be worse

SD HA

That is utterly correct - and, complaining get you nowhere, infact it will make everything so boring and difficult.

So ..... do you have tuesdays off ? - over here we are lucky to have maids to help in household work - for instance, one maid has been with us for over 16 years and become part of the family.

My shifts are all over the place at the moment as they havent given me my proper roster yet but i worked yesterday started at 4.30pm till 8.30pm and while i was there i spoke to my boss about what is going on with the roster as i really need more shifts so when i go to work tomorrow we will sought it out then.

And sometimes i wish i had a maid but if i did have one i woulndnt have any spare money left at the end of the week plus if i spent less time on the computer(but im hooked)as i have 3 different chat lines im on id be able to get what i want done so i need to limit myself.

Gee you are probably thinking my house is like an absolute mess,it isnt,im just fussy

I find it most interesting talking to you since we come fromm two completely different worlds both geographically and stages of life !!! smiley - biggrin

If I may suggest, try to chat when you have free time or you will find it difficult to achieve your goals !!!!

Hope I'm not being too philosophical !!!

the score is 1 nil to me as i got everything done before i commit myself to the computer hahahhaa i did turn computer on this morning for a little bit but didnt think it fair to rick if i sat on computer all morning considering its his bday.

And i cant wait to go out and relax tonight for an hour or so as my 5 year old has been soooooooooooooooo naughty lately,i think she is just bored as she starts kindergarten next year, she does go to preschool but only 2 days a week. And the other 5 she drives me mad.smiley - wah

Hi there,
How are you today?
We are all well and we had a great time last night as it was good to get out by ourselves for once,it was the 1st time for me since Lohla was born.
We had a lovely tea and then we went and since we were at our local leagues club we then went and had a slap (played the pokies)didnt win but also didnt loose as we came out even.
I didnt drink but Rick had a few as i dont like drinking that much plus since i have to get up early (5-6am)to lohla i didnt want to risk it as i havent really drank since Lohla was born i have had 1 vodka cruiser here and there but that goes straight to my head and it doesnt make me feel to good in the morning but it doesnt bother me.
It is now 3 nil to me your advise certainly is paying off thankyou.

Well i hope you are having a great weekend too.
Im working tomorrow 9am to 3pm so im not going to have to much of a late night but in saying that the kids are still up so i wont go to bed till they do.Lohla is easy to get to sleep but Amber is a challenge and a half plus ricks sisters are here visiting with their kids so it will probably turn into another late night.smiley - biggrin

Hi there young lady,

I am fine thank you – was staying up late to watch the rugby.

Hey, glad you guys had a wonderful time – and after so long!!!! Anyway, you fully deserve it.

The score 3-0 suggests that you are heading for a resounding victory!!!!

Yes, I am having a super time with all the sports this weekend. My daughter, Keshini, has gone on a school trip to hill-country (in the central part of our island).

Hi there

My god it was soo hot over here today i think it reached 33 degrees but it felt like 50 to me as i worked and i work in a chicken shop called caesars (we sell chickens, chips, roast pork, beef and a lot of other hot foods plus we also sell yummy salads)and because i serve i am near the rotiseries and the hot oil where the rest of the hot food is made and we were soooooooooooooooooo busy the line was pretty much out the door all day which i like because it makes the shift go muck quicker. And i am working till wednesday.
And then when i got home i cleaned up and now i am cooking tea nothing too fancy just chicken burgers as it is still quiet warm.
Wow a weekend full of sports, are you having a few drinks(beers ect)whilst you watch.?

Is Keshini in her last year of school?I love her name, i love different names. What is she wanting to do when she finishes school?

take care
Kylie (thats my real name)smiley - biggrin

Hi there,

33 dgrees phew !! that's hot even by our standards !!!!

Yes Ma’am I had a few Southern Comforts, and tonight the Brazilian Grand Prix - I mean can it get any better?

Keshini (18) finishes her AL's next year and has applied to do Medicine.

My son's name is Aschel (14) (we picked it out from the Bible !!!?.

My name is Dhammita (3 syllables) that's quite a mouthfull. I'am a Civil Engineer although I have a dgree in Geology too !!!

Hope you and the family enjoy your dinner - we just finished lunch !!!

Ah southern comfort, yummy i love that drink and i also like rasberry vodka cruisers but it only takes me a couple and im drunk so Rick likes that as he calls me a cheap drunk.hahahahaa.

So did you enjoy your lunch?
So you like the car racing too?Did you watch the bathurst race?Holdens verse Fords?
Every year over here, well in canberra which is a 3 hour drive there is a car show called the summer nats it goes for 3 days,if you go onto google and type in summer nats it will show you what its all about(burnout comps, show and shine and all other great stuff)we used to go down every year but Rick goes down with friends, family now since we have the 2 kids and im not keen on taking them its too hot and noisey and plus Amber my 5 year old would only get bored.

Wow medicine Keshini must be very smart. And you must be a very proud father?
Aschel is a nice name too.Amd you say you picked it out from the bible are you religious?

We do not go to church at all.Not that i havent got anything against people who do.
I have an aunt who is jehova, and an uncle who is morman.
Dhammita that is also different and not at all hard for me to pronounce as one of my other aunts was married to an indian brought up in Fiji and i got used to all the different names, food and their lifestyle. But he died a few years ago now.

Actually when i was 17 i went over to Fiji for a holiday and spent it with his family it was a wonderful experience.
Civil engineer and geology you must have spent a few years at uni?

I have an assistant in nursing certificate and before i had my children i worked in a nursing home for the war veterans.I didnt want to go back into that right now as it is shift work and at the moment i like doing the days as i then get to spent more time with my kids.

Ricks aunt runs a nursing agency when we were around at her place yesterday she asked me would i be interested working for her so i told her that i will certainly think about and get back to her asap.I just heve to renew my 1st aid certificate which is fine as it is only a 2 day coarse. And i will only have to do day shift case i wont be in a nursing home as i will be going to peoples houses and showering them and doing some cleaning, shopping and then cook them a meal.So i think i may do that as the pay would be fantastic as i will get around $30 dollars and hour.Where at the moment i get $15

Southern Comfort does have a tendency to deliver a sudden delayed kick !!! smiley - biggrinsmiley - biggrin

Great news about your forthcoming new job - when your pay is doubled it's an easy choice.

I love Formula 1 racing. Today's race in Brazil is the last for this season. To make things even more interesting any one of three drivers have a good chance to be this year's champion.

Both my kids are quite hardworking and do quite well at school - all children are capable - we, as parents must guide them with care.

No, I am not too religious. I am a Roman Catholic. Going to church is habitual and influences the kids in a positive way !!!

Someday you and yours must come over here - it's a real tropical paradise !!!! and, life is so laid back - very different to India (although geograhically they are our nieghbours)

I studied in England and attended University for 5 years. Best years of my life !!!!

Hey how are you?
Sorry for not saying goodbye last night but i had to turn off computer quickly as the kids were whinging in my ear well Amber was as Lohla was in bed but Amber was tired and wanted me to lay down with her.
All the house work is done and im just about to get ready for work.

Did you enjoy the formula1 race?
And i agree with you that if we guide our kids in the right direction it does help how they turn out.
Or at least we can only try.

And it would be nice to go overseas on a holiday but at the moment we are paying off our house so it will be a few years before we can do any travelling.
And plus im not very good with planes as Rick and i went on a plane for a holiday a few years ago only domestic and the flight was for an hour and i had to take a valium 30 minutes prior to getting on the plane as i started having a panic attack.

But as a kid i went on heaps of planes even the one i went to fiji on didnt bother me but i was younger then.

Well i must start getting ready for work as i start in an hour

take care and most importantly have fun
Kylie

Did your daughter have fun on her school trip?

Hi there Kylie !!!!

Terribly disappointed with the F1 race yesterday, as Lewis Hamilton did not win the championship. Otherwise, it was a fine race – Kimi Raikkonen a great driver - driving for Ferrari won the race and the championship.

Visited the “Summer Nats” website – looks like great fun.

You, Rick and the kids are welcome over here anytime – you’re right the kids are a little too young to travel over here.

Keshini had a lovely time, and got back quite late Sunday night.

Have a great day at work!!!!

Take care. Will catch up soon.
