Well isn't this fabulous
I am a Chemistry student at the University of Durham, England.
The course is fine as long as you can cope with a high lecture/practical load, some interesting smells in the labs and mad lecturers (for example Dr Brooke ... "Cleavage of carbon to carbon bonds, fantastic." you need to understand Organic Chemistry before you can tell the joy that bond cleavage has to offer!).
Pages of interest:
The molecules with silly names page, including the ring molecule Arsole and the mineral Cummingtonite.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
