Was Geordie Johnson and Mick Skivington still teaching there when you went through?

What about Phil the Medic with the broken nose?

The female SWO with hairy legs and a penchant for pretending she was a civvy when she pulled you up for walking on the grass; when you ansered her back or told her to mind your own business, she jailed you!! ?

Superclerk or did you have to go back for a 'P&A Clerk' Course?

My memories of a sh1thole, revisited many, many times, also include Crystal Rooms and the Brothel on the roundabout; I don't suppose you remember the name of that place?

1990 would have been the year I did my GST1 - the October I think, with Maria McKee top of the charts - "Show me Heaven"

Depends wot they taught smiley - winkeye I'll be honest, names from Hereford are a blur these days. I was amazed that i remembered as much as i did when i wrote the article.
I did meet phil though, he did my tetanus jab from the dog bite.
Never saw or met the SWO in our whole time there and we were there a long old time. sgt al (green?) the clerks discip snco normally bent our ears.
Superclerks smiley - winkeye (actually not so super, seeing as i didn't actually get the pass mark to leave hereford. i was just sent to my unit anyway. i never did find out how they managed to circumvent that very basic requirement)) We actually became Pers Admin whilst we were training, 2nd course to leave as Pers Admin.
Now I was aware of the brothel (only cuz the RAF bloke who did toms cabs told us about it once), never took advantage of it's services though (mainly because we either drank or gambled our money away).
October smiley - winkeye we hadn't quite finished our course but i used to go past the gst blocks all the time on my runs.
And if you were ever bombarded with apples when you did evening manouvers in the little bunkers and sangers, that was our lot ;-0
normally after a session at the rugby club in the crappy wooden hut.
