h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Saw your post on the announcements thread and was intrigued by the "ripper" comment. Did a quick google and didn't turn up anything (except for one that works with Shoutcast compatible servers, which bbc probably isn't).

So....what do you use? And is it free for download somewhere?

I just downloaded Streambox VCR and tried it out on the hitchhiker's trailer. Worked fine. You have to google for it. I found it here:

I had to become a member of that site, but it is free, and Streambox VCR is free to, so it's well worth it.

There's no documentation, so you have to figure out how to use it yourself, but it wasn't too hard.

Net Transport was the one I used - again, you need to delve into the html of the relevant page to get the URL of the media.

Free, although donations welcome.

Well, Streambox worked just fine - I have episode 1.
