Well, Floyd kept east and didn't do us any severe damage here...lots of rain and wind, and the associated flooding and downed trees, but at least I'm not in Oz. And my power is intact. All them prayers and meditations musta worked, if anyone is actually reading this journal. Which they're probably not. I know I wouldn't. Over and out,

Trying to reason with hurricane season...I'm battening down the hatches for hurricane Floyd...this one's looking to be worse than Fran, which took my power out for a week three years ago. It's gonna hit tonight, so keep me in your prayers, meditations, and whatever else you do. In the meantime I've got a few more articles posted...I'm least happy with the Tao Te Ching article, so if anyone has some helpful comments I'd appreciate it. See you soon.

Wow, I'd like to thank everyone for being so friendly and helpful while I'm getting myself acquainted around here. I've switched my name to CoyotePete because I felt PJR was just a bit dull. Posted three articles so far with a whole slew more on the way. Stay hoopy!

We'll, I've just discovered H2G2 and have signed up. Great plans for articles about Mandarin chicken and NASA. Glad we got past that 9/9/99 thing ok. (I just wanted to write 9/9/99.) Happy Hiking!

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
