Arthurford's log- Stardate 03.08.07. As those who have been on my page have proably noticed, my journal entries have quite..err.. odd . Journal entries to me are just articles that reflect what one is thinking of at the time, and that person jots it down before he forgets. I hope my journal entries make people think, though .

No Purpose
Posted Jul 28, 2007
Arthurford's Log- Stardate 28.07.07. I am writing this journal entry for no purpose, I am just bored. But perhaps I just wanted to ponder the universe, or something like that. Anyway, here goes nothing.
Who thinks the Earth could have been created by a supreme being? Yet again, how could something so complex create itself? The answers are not logical, from both sides. From my standpoint I don't think anyone can truly know how the universe came to be; for all the answers are illogical, redundant, and foolish, for either side. So the message for today is DON'T MAKE YOURSELF LOOK LIKE A FOOL. We all do at sometime, but don't do it unpurposefully purposefully.

Existance Pt. 2
Posted Jul 27, 2007
Arthurford's Log- Stardate 27.07.07.
The Guide also states that theologians have no proof, either and are barely surviving ''holding on to their dingos''. But the existance of God is not purely an argument of logic, but an argument of philosophy as well. Many philosopher's today disbelieve in God, but in the ''old'' days of philosophy, all most all of them believed in some form of diety. Their beliefs differed greatly at times, but they all had one thing in common- faith. Now, in my opinoin an atheist requires just as much faith as a christian. For one cannot soley prove that God does or doesn't exist, because one must have some amount of faith invovled, though it may seem illogical. Now for the second question, why we exist. This question cannot be dismissed simply with logic, for our very existance seems very illogical. What purpose do we serve but to be like parasites living in a host that was chosen FOR us? The only reasons man has found is to ''live it up'' as best he can; but that purpose is ridiculous. Man must have some purpose to be on a planet, living, working, acually being a complex, living, breathing form. But untill that question is answered, Douglas Adams left us with this- the answer to LIFE, the Universe, and Everything, 42.

Existance Pt. 1
Posted Jul 27, 2007
Arthurford's Log- Stardate 26.07.07. It seems that the question of existance is one of the most mysterious questions in the universe of qury. Why we exist, if Dieties exist, and so on. First, we shall deal with the question of Gods existance. The Guide says that God is unable to prove his existance, for if he has proves himself, people would not live by faith, thus ruining the whole purpose. Then man shows up and has an argument of logic on his side and God ''promptly vanishes in a puff of logic''.
