Dylan Thomas got me seriously into poetry. Perhaps my favourite poem is Anne Sexton's The Truth The Dead Know - look it up if you aint read it.

I love unfree poetry, not neccessarily using some predone form or template - but creating your own, to fit the mood and intention of a piece. Free poetry is fine, but avoiding rhymes and patterns is no less artificial than engaging with them. I blame unwillingness to do this for the fact that now so few poets are widely read who are not also song writers.

Other poetry here:
A3042055 - What raindrop
A3021058 - Sunday a.m.
A3015488 - Play
A3009575 - Making Lead
A3009061 - Our Storm
A3005948 - Cairns Haiku
A2990171 - My Light
