Well it's Sunday morning and like many others I'm sure I forgot to do the clock back one hour at 2am (fell asleep waiting for 2 am) so bored out of my tiny tree and looking through the mountains of stuff on here I noticed:
1) You are now Hnicky
2) You've been to Ireland.
When and where, and why did you not ring me to go for a ?

i waas playing to try and figure out how to change my name for interest and i did!
i also forgot to change my clock i got up for church an hour early and sat around for the rest of the morning wondering what to do before church!
went to dublin for 3 nights in august with my then boyfriend and 4 friends. had a great time though i did get a little drunk!
didnt call you because i hadnt started talking to you on here when i went so therefore i didnt know you and i wouldnt be able to know anyway because i dont know your number to ring!
does that answer everything?
sorry it took so long to reply, havent been on for a while ive actually been doing some work!

Ahh well its all clear now, yeah your right in August I'd not even signed up on here and despite the Doc making me the one in his latest concoction I still can't manage the time travel bit just yet
Don't talk to me about last Sunday, I got up and forgot Windows XP automatically adjusts the clock for time changes, the older versions asked you if you wanted to do it so I changed it manually and spent all morning an hour behind the rest of the country, talk about feeling a fool!
Dublins got some great mnightlife , not suprised you got a little drunk lol
Speaking of work I'd better get back to mine, in the meantime have fun and I'll see you in the lab

where abouts in ireland do you live dai?
i only knew the clocks changed because i turned my computer on and it asked me if i wanted to change the clock! yes i have the older versions of windows!

Ahh I'm oop north just south of Belfast, but the guiness is not bad and we get full size measure like the rest of the country oh and we dont have the smoking ban yet but I'd say its only a matter of time lol
Got to admit I was totally out of it on Sunday I had a heap of things to do and lost out big style with my mistake with the clocks.
Yeah the lab shoots off in all directions, I can see a pattern eemerging so if you need any help just shout, so far it seems cupboards are very popular, dont ask mye whay but they keep popping up evey now and then lol

well more accuratly we keep popping into them!
well i always said i could never resist an irish man!
i love drinking guiness, i drink it with blackcurrent cordial in over here, but in ireland its sweeter and doesnt need it, its something to do with the water its brewed with i think!

Dai the Death, "My other sink's a Porsche" Posted Nov 5, 2004
Ahh well we do seem to pop into them thats true, and I loved the fact you were so thoughtful you went for a phone book when I confessed to finding it difficult to gaze deeply into your eyes owing to my lack of height lol
So what's this thing about Irish men these days, the number of people who talk about Isish blokes amazes me (woman I mean lol) must be something to do with James Nesbitt on tv
Got to agree the local Guiness is different from that you get outside Ireland, if your into Guiness you should try Murphys Stout, its a great drink as well.
So what's the plans for the weekend with you?
Dai

Dai the Death, "My other sink's a Porsche" Posted Nov 6, 2004
Just in, went for a meal with some friends, was driving so no falling down water but having a swift one now
Not sure of where its sold in Cambridge but I was there last year for a visit would you believe, nice place.
If you ever make it back to this part of the world rest asured I will arrange for copious amounts of black nectar to be available, hey I'll even throw in your own personal cupboard

the fireworks last night were fantastic! there was even a fair, had so much fun!
so you enjoyed cambridge then? i cant see the tourist appeal of it really, but i live here so...! where abouts did you go? and what did you see?

Dai the Death, "My other sink's a Porsche" Posted Nov 6, 2004
Ah well then be assured this is being typed in my best Irish accent lol
Was over on business so did not get much chance to see arround Cambridge, the dreaded work thing kept me busy and really only saw things from the car on the way from the airport which was a bit of a waste
Sounds like last night was a blast, went out to some friends for a bite to eat and then home. wa driving though so sober of course lol
Whats happening tonight with u?

nicki Posted Nov 7, 2004

im just playing on this before going to bed, got church in 8 hours, im so going to be hung over!
there is a airport in cambridge?!
i love the irish accent though its really sexy!
looked in sainsbury's earlier they dont do old murphys, but i did get guiness which ive mixed with ribena!

Dai the Death, "My other sink's a Porsche" Posted Nov 7, 2004
Morning Hnicky
Well did not go far last night, was out most of the day and I'd been out Friday so just had a quiet night with my friend Mr Smirnoff, downloading some tunes and chatting on MSN.
No there is not an airport in Cambridge, I flew into Luton and hired a car lol
Pity you can't find Murphy's over there, I'll get a 6 pack and send it over as a red cross parcel if you want
So on the subject of music as you mention the old CD's what you listen to then?
Oh meant to say Irish Blondie will love your new title lol
Have a good one today, hope the hangover does not effect things

had a great day yesterday, had a home cooked meal at the vicarage!
hangover wasnt too bad watched pearl harbour in the evening had a good cry!
got to get some work done today though!
what do you do for a job? do you have any family and stuff? (trying to find out about him without being too forward!)
i had guiness on sat night! im going to have a look in the beer shop in town at some point and see if i can find murpheys
music? lets see anything!
im not too fussy, i play the violin and i love music! i have different eras and genres for when im in different moods, though i do listen to a lot of dance and rnb at the minute
what about you?
New name I see :-)
Dai the Death, "My other sink's a Porsche" Posted Nov 8, 2004
Don't need to worry about being too forward, I've no secrets at all
I work for myself as a financial consultant, got out of the corperate rat race about 5 years ago as I could not stand the view from the greasy pole anymore.
Have family but I seperated last year so just me at "home" these days.
Similar views on music as yourself, love all types and totally dependent on my mood at anytime, listen to classical, opera, rnb, you name I I have some of it on the Ipod and since I discovered peer to peer music sites things have never been the same lol
Right, quick check on the lab, finish lunch and back to the grind.

New name I see :-)
Dai the Death, "My other sink's a Porsche" Posted Nov 8, 2004
Currently listening to a compilation of Snow Patrol, Muse and White Stripes and ploughing through loads of paperwork which is one aspect of work I dont enjoy, but you can't have it both ways just have to take the rough with the smooth sort of thing.
HAve kids and I see them often paticularly the youngest, the other 2 are older and do there own thing

Oh heck now thaers a question, dont mind anwsering it but not sure if it's the sort of thing I want to put on a public forum if you see what I mean, at the same time I'm hesitent about offering my email address, can do but up to you.
Well I've now moved on music wise to some BB king and the pile of papers on my desk is slowly shrinking, all being well they will be cleared by 4 and I can go off and do something more interesting.
I take it from the activity here and in the lab (Im on the floor after the last visit in there lol) your working from 'home' today?
