Why didn't you say? Sheesh, you could have been pottering around our various flower beds too. Now though, it's too late. Several weeks of temperatures in the mid-30s, feeling as high as 50 C with the humidity and smog. The little things curled up their toes and petals, and gave up.

bless, we've had some hot weather, although not as hot as that, but hot for England non the less

We WERE given fair warning that it was going to be a hotter-than-average summer. But unfortunately, no one quite told the plant life. So now, we all have nice brownish lawns, with the occassional weed that WILL survive any weather.
For today though, I'm just trying to seem busy, lining up a few administrative details for the next two weeks in the U.S. of A.

Good morning/afternoon. How's you and the world immediately around you today?

So I have just seen elsewhere. Any chances of you clarifying your new-found clarity? You might still have my 'forces' e-mail address.

oh I don't I changed isp's so I think I lost that one
but I'm just very happy, sometimes you don't think things can get worse for people then all of a sudden BAM! clarity comes to the rescuse. I have no been so grateful for such a horrible chain of events in all my life.

I've just dropped a note from that address, so if you get it, 'tis your choice to reply.
I've been asked a number of times, ... 'if you could change anything in your past, ...' I had an absolutely horrid youth, with a lot of baggage still being with me. And it's certainly not been an easy 30 years since. But all I have to do is glance at the piccy above my work-bench, a smiling daughter and her tribe around her.
It has ALL been worth it.

I think we're meant to go through these things, it tests out charater, how we act with others, and makes up the people who we are.
Jack and Charlie are both prime examples of people who have been through so much, yet coped without effecting the people around them too much, they are both lovely men.

Rev Nick { Only the dead are without fear } Posted Aug 9, 2006
That they are, though sadly I haven't heard much of anything from Charlie in a very long time.

If he's happy, then that's a fantastic something. I gather you hear from him sometimes then? Or 'of him' through channels?
And so it goes ...
Rev Nick { Only the dead are without fear } Posted Aug 9, 2006
I've seen that he's been around, just as I occassionally see that Jack has been. With my impeccable timing, I'm usually a few hours too late.

Not one to be paranoid, of course, but I have oft-times wondered if he generates a dozen posts in WordPad, ... And then dumps them all in with but a few clicks and stuff. Just to run-away really, REALLY fast, and appear all mysterious.

Mizzpinky *sighs* here we go again Posted Aug 9, 2006
well it does make you appear attractive if you're mysterious
And so it goes ...
Rev Nick { Only the dead are without fear } Posted Aug 9, 2006
Really? Any time I've tried to appear mysterious, people actively shy away. With the most peculiar look on their faces.
Maybe he carries it off better because of the stripey-socks? I only wear them on Thursdays, you know, so maybe just not enough to be really convincing.
