Liked your contributions to the Joke Thread - very much actually. Wanta b friends?
Don't take any notice of how maladroit yet boring my My Space is!

ahh ...maladroit
such an adroit term for clumsiness
thank you for liking my sense of humour
i like it too
i like you too
sure let's be friends
so!
guess what!!
when i was in college i took a modern dance class one semester
and the final was to choreograph 2 dances to the music of our choice
so i chose 'The Planets' (like millions of other students of dance haha)
and 'The Jabberwocky' (like no other student i knew of)
it was fun and i got an A
but mainly
it was fun

Great! With taste like that you should have got that A.
I think we'll make good friends. And to you too.
Jabs
I love that coincidence

Jabberwock Posted Dec 22, 2011
OK...Which coincidence - are there more than one?
Or - it was a coincidence, a premonition, fate...or a case of two people with a similar outlook and interests...or none of the above. Btw did you dance to the poem itself? That would have been really cool.

hi
sorry it took me a while to get back
i have been ...kerfuffled
aaaanyway... you have been duly bfriended
and yes, i choreographed it to the spoken poem
and then the rest of the class had to dance the dance
but it turned out okay... and not a bad idea at that
which is what the teacher said

i sometimes am very slow at hearing about stuff
i just saw some stuff by Sonic Youth
i like the instrumental parts
and the Jabberwocky could also be a piece of music, huh
especially with somewhat unfamiliar yet melodious words in it
especially if recited with that in mind
being a piece of music
to be danced to

That event must have been astonishingly cool, especially to the language of Jabberwocky with its brillig and sliiiithy toves etc. I'd have loved to have seen it.
Brilliant
Jabs
Thanks for befriending me - and I didn't feel a thing!

oh well i felt a jab when you befriended me
so its very interesting
and i am sure you already know this
but most of the made up words
in the jabberwocky
have become a part of our language
and not as nonsense words
but as truly as they were constructed
he took two words and melded them to mean a melding of the two words
a very good example is burbled
babbled and gurgled i believe
most of them are in the dictionary
not bad, Lewis Carrol!!

It might interest you to know, (but I'm sure you know already) that Dodgson was a mathematics don at Oxford.
