I think you were getting a bit overtired there. And probably Mina was too. She's said elsewhere that her bodyclock has been haywire since she came back from India last week.

So, I hope you've had a chance to relax and calm down a bit. Asking someone to go and talk to random strangers in the hope that they may have known DNA is a big thing to ask, though. I'm sure you realise that.

I wouldn't want to see you getting in an argument with anyone over this thing though. It's not that important.

its nice to 'hear' a friendly voice

it never occurred to me that i was asking anything heavy of anyone
i live in such a big country that 50 miles or 25 km is no big deal
and i am so excited about douglas and his stuff
have been since i 'met' him 4 years ago
that i sometimes forget that others dont share the same enthusiasm

then there is this ...element i keep running into here
kinda unfriendly but not enuf to really put ones finger on it
somethimes theres a remark about americanism
or some other failing to measure up to the english standard

i know this is a human predicament
there will always be bullies
but it saddens and sometimes angers me when i run into it

and i know they do it to make the people they are bullying go away
so its a conundrum

as it stands tho
since it has gone on here for so very long
with very little defense of the bullied ones
i really dont have the heart for it anymore

i dont belong here

i came back on to tell you i am really really sorry that all this negativity
happened around your neat little arthur dent entry

i am really tired and am going to bed but i just wanted you to know
that i have taken your advice to heart
and its true being tired makes things darker than they are

im sure things arnt as dire as i painted them
thank you so much you have been so sweet to try to cheer us up
i am going to try to be happier *staunchly*
