In my defence ... Mu Beta v. Zweimoto

Hi Fluffy.
Just left this message in my thread ... wasn't quite sure if you had unsubscribed from it:
Hi Fluffy.
I think I know what I did wrong ... I inadvertently, placed a thread in the wrong forum ... I really wanted to add it into misc. Chat and not in Ask? I nearly just done it again ... going to conversation in someone else's PC.
I haven't been back to this thread, because it had a bitter taste in my mouth every time I read it ... sorry for the delay in getting back to you.
I could not, at the time understand why 'Mu beta' was having a go at me? I didn't know - not knowing everything about the whole H2G2 site.
For this I have apologise ... and have just read your answer to him/her above ... in my defence! Sorry I just got it.
I love your answers and don't want to annoy anyone ... as you said above, I do try to challenge and question all forms of dogma in our societies ... and occasionally I do go a little too far ...
I work with someone like Mu Beta ... he doesn't actually do very much ... I, like my threads, am very active and always try to start new iniatives and motivate people to take action. He just waits and complains, negates what I do ... he likes it best, when I fail ... which I don't really do ... if it doesn't work, it means the next time I woul d have learned from the experience ...
American society is incredible varied and has been influencing the world for such a long time. I did not mean anything against you or any other US citizen ... some of my best friends are American ... we have lively debates about a range of subjects.
I am a sociologist ... and being so I see (study) trends in differing societies ... my own theory is that what happens in the US moves East until it arrives in the UK and then in Germany where I live ... nothing more and nothing less.
Hope you won't be too angry with me ...
