Hi KUZUSHI
Agreed but a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do, we cant stop or interfere with this we can advise and hope. Fluffy will be careful and work at this but there are no guarentees, perhaps it is better to have loved....... you know.
This chap seeme to return the love, I just hope he is true and genuine.

Yes.
Shakespeare: "Better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all."
Go for it. Enjoy. Just try not to get too hurt if it does go wrong.

yeah... the emotional pain... yeah...
what i had felt before the conversation where he had been drinking, had been so devastaing... so fraught with feelings of inadequacy, unworthiness, unlovableness, doubt and foolishness...
this tho.. this pain here tho is different... because the thing he had said that he couldnt remember... it was that he loves me... this pain and wherever it may go... i dont think is nearly as bad as the all alone kind...
and maybe thats the first step... not feeling so all alone... for both of us...
yeah i think i will go with that...

Firstly, if, and it's a big if, he's an alcoholic then good luck, you'll need it. If he's not then good luck anyway. I've worked with alcoholics and they're more tiring that bipolar people.
Secondly, that wasn't Shakespeare, that was Alfred Lord Tennyson, former Poet Laureate and 1st baron Tennyson, and he was talking about a man's love for another man..and not in a homosexual way. That is, he was talking about a friend who's so close that you love them like family. He meant that it's better to have had a really close friend who died than a few people you just hang out with.

okay... secondly... wow!! thank you that is so amazing!! i love it!!
and firstly... yeah.. alcoholics have always tired me out.. it is so frustrating because of the nature of their addiction.. it makes them nonconscious... so they wind up bailing out of communication when it is uncomfortable... and thats when you need both conversants present... to give and take pertinent information...
thank you for the well wishes...
(hope i havent misused any words here i know how it drives you caaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrraaaaaaaazzzzy!!)

and thirdly... putting the first and second together.... having a friend who has died is better than only having acquaintances... having a friend who bails out of a relationship due to addiction is sssstill better than not having been their friend....
still working on this, bear with me
