Welcome To My World
Be gentle with me, dear readers, as I am new to all of this. This is the first time I have dipped a toe in the waters of internet conversation and I'm sure what to expect (or what is expected of me).
Let me tell you a bit about myself. I'm an aquarian 40 something father of 1 (a daughter) living in a place that's between Glasgow (God's country) and Edinburgh (the land that time forgot) - I think that may give you a clue where my allegiances lie!
I like:
good manners; good music (mainly classic rock and some classical); cooking; brussels sprouts and reading. I like other things, too, but I just can't think of them at the moment.
I don't like:
bad manners; bad grammar; unpunctuality; people who have no respect for other people's property and cabbage. As above there are other things I don't like and when I think of them I'll maybe add them to the list.
I would like to learn to play the guitar as I was given one for my birthday about 2 - 3 years ago but I'm afraid apathy has gotten the better of me!
I think my glass is half empty and I probably spend more time than is necessary worrying about offending people rather than just getting on with things - let's face it there are things out there that are said and done that offend me but I will defend an individuals right to express an opinion (if that's OK with everyone else). I really can't be bothered with people who think that someone's opinion is wrong just because it disagrees with theirs.
Right, that's me in a nutshell (or is that nutcase?). Having a few problems at the moment so it could be either one.
