Lil, have you found me on F@ce? Did you receive my message? I haven't seen a Friend Invite yet.

I did, I did, loved the portrait!, and did an "add as friend". Let me go poke the system and see if I can add you again.

I should be ashamed. I haven't ~even~ been on Facebook since I made this request to you. Did we link up? I have to have a look now, when I get home, after my Night shift. Is this still something we need to deal with, what with the deal in the works for the H2G2C2 rebirth pending?
Let me know.

...and this time, it's a matter of not being hooked in with Affy. Got a handle on him? We (Irv and I) were trying to get 'a rise' out of him on this long-ago thread: F25840?thread=520153&show=20

If you've seen Affy recently, you're lucky. I haven't spoken to him in a while either here or off site. He mentioned that he might be vanishing for a while to deal with some things in real life.

That would explain it. We'll be patient.
This was simply an extension of a humorous thread he'd begun ages ago.
We'll expect him, with everything sorted...

Things are a little slow in the matching paint adventure, too, but we expect that might pick up pace around Christmas.

We let the bots do that, now. And, as I mentioned in the salon, the trees are holding a lottery to see who gets to stand in the atelier.

Yeah, I got that about the Lottery, but it kind of took me aback. I suppose it's a huge investment in time to run a hunting adventure, especially knowing the eventual outcome in advance. Yup, having the bots do the work and letting the trees decide amongst themselves who will have the top honor is quite the simpler route. I will let you know I am still honored to have been a participant of even one of such adventures all those years ago. Eight? Really? Really. And it was fun. Thank you for that, as it's become a part of my personal lore and a fond remembrance.
