did a few things diff than normal, went for dinner with an old friend, her cat scratched the back of my hand, and its still soar lol.

tonight will be non stop kids at the door from about 6pm till usually 9pm, could give out from £3 to £5, should be fun, wont see much tv, i,ll see them in the gateway on the security cam, and meet them at the door. jim xx

Hi Jimcracker! The local kids around here know that I will never give money. They ask me (even in Summer) are you the witch? I usually make witchy cakes - normal orange flavoured cup cakes; but with coloured icing - black, blue, green, orange, red etc., it adds a bit of fun. This year, I didn't have time - so I bought a lg tin of (hang on a minute while I go and have a look) Celebration, those with individually wrapped variations of chocs. I put selections in a plastic tub - working on the assumption that the little blighters would empty the tin if I took that to the door. I was amazed when they all just took one each; and I felt that I needed to say - "take two"

All in all it's been an amazing day. I'ts so nice when the really little ones come around and their parents are hiding behing the hedge, so that they are really really safe; but feel that they are out on their own. We have had no trouble at all.

Tomorrow, SS and I are going to the Royal Centre in Nottingham to see a performance by numerous local mail voice choirs; accompanied by the Grimethorpe Colliery Band. I don't know if you ever saw the film
'Brassed off' but if you did - the Grimley Colliery Band was actually, Grimethorpe - personally I think they are wonderful

i saw the trailer to the film, never seen it, im sorry to say lol, im a horror fan and sci fi.

at one time i did give the kids sweets and so on, but when the adverts, aout dentists and sugar bad for the little horrors i went to giving each over 5,20p. the younger ones 1op.

last night i only had 5 come, only cost a £1, lol

my three spare pages on here have been "hacked",stolen, one is now ,simple the best, another,winter blues, the other asnt shown up yet. why your guess is as good as mine.lol

who, i have an idea, am i bothered nay, never used them for anything important,if you get any one messing threads with them, it aint me. lol

my neibour to the left as gone this weekend to live at,skipsey for good, so im going to have to put up with a big, new change, new neibour or neibours. i hate change. except when my lodger/relation, rats as i call him,leaves to get married in jan.
