The funniest part of the Simpsons story is that that particular episode was all about how bl**dy dysfunctional they are, I was laughing (and this is only a cartoon but the comparisons were glaringly obvious)and Mr BB left the room! And while the programme was still on, the telephone rang etc.......
I went to the doctor's yesterday and I said 'Doctor, I don't feel very well and I'm having difficulty hearing.' He said 'Well, can you tell me about the symptons?' and I said 'They are a yellow cartoon family shown on Channel 4 but what about my ears!'

Just passing as I'll be disappearing again for a while and I have to say, it was fun while it lasted I hope you don't give up on 4 words - remove 1 even though I keep killing it stone dead, as I do check it when the opportunity presents itself.
I hope the knees are holding up well and if they are not that C is dishing out lots of tlc

Now that you can hootoo a bit more freely other than in the confines of work in the middle of the night , can you please rescue, again, 4 words - remove 1 because I've successfully killed it off, again. It was meant to imply that a secret about McFly was 'out' and had released tension within the band but maybe it didn't read that way. In fact, I know it didn't read that way because neither you nor our new playing friend has picked up the ball and run with it So when Colleen has put you down for five minutes and you have finished with the digi-radio, can you do your bit, pretty please, and I'll try very hard not to blow it again!

You're back! You're back! How goes retirement, LW? Relaxing or taking up lots of things you never found time for before? It looks like the gang is coming together in the Enchanted Forest. I just posted a 'sparring' at you, I hope you don't mind
I hope the knees, and the rest of you, are well

Encharted Forest?
Retirement very busy, can't get on hoo too as often as I used to. Been to Littlecote near Hungerford for Easter. Going to the Cotswolds on 10th June. Then Bournemouth 24th and Cyprus on 5th July.
I have bought an automatic car, which makes driving easier.Prefer manual, but it is easier on the knees.
Hope all is well with you.

It is very hot here, so Coll and I are working in the garden, and we are getting a nice tan. We had a BBQ the other day and it was vey enjoyable.
We are planning our ladies night in the Cotswold. Although it won't be until September 2007, you have to book a year in advance to get the hotel and dates you want. We originally wanted October, but they were fully booked through out October and a lot of September, but we found 28/29 was free so we pencilled in for that.
How are things your way?

The Cotswolds, eh? Very pleasant part of the country. I too am enjoying the gorgeous weather. There is still a cold front here on the home front though MrBB and Y&E are finding it very difficult and I'm caught in the middle

Just returned from Blunsdon in the Cotswolds. Lovely weekend checking out our hotel and making plans. Phew was it hot! Coll has heat stroke. I've left her lying down in a dark room.

Oh no! Poor C Your turn to be I hope the hotel lived up to all your expectations for such a grand occasion. Y&E and their friend and I spent a very pleasant afternoon yesterday with my parents. Nothing special, enjoying a sandwich lunch outside, playing I Spy, just good company I hope C feels better very soon

Youn know what they say, you can't keep a good girl down. We went to lunch with friends today and she ate quite a lot, so I don't think that there's much to worry about.
Hotel more than lived up to expectations.
Y&E?

You know, I was sure I replied and yet as I mooch I appear to have overlooked your enquiry to Y&E. They are both good, thanks, regards school and friends and yet still, home life is not smooth. Being of tender years and unable to look forward instead of back is alot to ask of a child.
How was Bournemouth?

Yup, good weekend in Bournemouth.
We stopped off in a petrol station for directions. They said they had never heard of the hotel. So I asked for the road, they said they didn't know where it was. A local came in and said hotel next door and we were in the road were were looking for.
Lovely weather, I love the nheat.
We had friends come up from Kent for the weekend and had a smashing time. I did my famous BBQ and we sat under the apple tree as it was cooler.
Packing for Cyprus, off soon.
Cannot get on H2G2 as much as I used to. Busy and staying at Coll's
Still I'll look in when I can.
Have fun
