Garvan is back!

Garvan is back from hospital, and has reinstated the comments on his blog. Hopefully he'll stay topped up with anti-psychotic drugs, too. Unfortunately, though, it looks like the drugs have done little to tone down his religious conviction.

The other day I arranged to pick up some expensive video lights, costing around £600. The best thing about them is the name, "Photon Beard". Sounds like an early seventies prog rock group! (and yes, I have heard of "Spock's Beard")

Ouch!

Root Canal Therapy leaves your face numb. I've got to go back to the dentist next Thursday, for more drilling. On the upside, I think I've worked out why I'm nervous about being at the dentist. I can deal with the pain of the numbing injections, and the drilling isn't too bad really, but what really freaks me is the idea that I might accidentally waggle my tongue in the way of the drill. Everything else is a piece of cake by comparison. So really, I think I've worked out that I'm not afraid of the dentist as I seem to be able to handle all that stuff! No, what I'm really afraid of is hurting myself!

New Printer

My new printer arrived yesterday, a Canon i865. However, the lovely white top dvds I ordered a while back seem to have some sort of inkjet repellant surface on them! They're fine for writing on with felt tips, but not for inkjet ink!
I've had to order some proper 'printable' DVDs! Doh!
