I have lived in the American mid-west, just before the worst of it, for over 20 years, but will always identify as a NYC-tri-state person. I'm not unhappy; I'm just not a midwesterner.
I stumbled across the gig of the BBC quite by accident, and look forward to exploring it. I have ten years of experience in a vibrant online community of alumnae from my college. We are a fascinating group of more than 200 women from over five decades, but it's known territory.
I picture this h2g2 thing as a sort of New Forest with different habitats and various denizens. I expect there are many many paths to wander down and I'll undoubtedly get lost on occasion.
