Interesting how much I am learning by reviewing. In the beginning, it was my way of evading the issue, wanting to write but unable to do so. Probably too little faith in my abilities. No, I'm not afraid of criticism - I can take the rotten tomatoes - but reviewing has meant my writing MORE than if I were writing CREATIVELY (whatever THAT may mean!).
I try to be fair, I try to stay objective, I actually try to help - in some cases, I think I do.
All this will eventually lead to my writing myself - and better writing. If it doesn't, I'll be sorry - if it does, I shall be inordinately grateful to GW for the idea of writing and allowing US to review. I am literally learning every day...

That's about it - no, not tired, exhausted. Getting nowhere in a hurry...
Burning the candle at both ends but not having any fun in the doing. Too much work, too many worries, only outlet and escape from it all is GW. And I'm not even WRITING! What is the point of it all...

Depressed

Tonight waiting for the Flash Challenge, started wondering what the hell I was doing here. Is it because I need the Feedback, Is it because being alone in this prison like, Catch 22 situation I now find myself in, this site opens new vistas, new ideas, a world as far as I can get from where I am?
One thing is for sure, it has certainly helped me to get started. Whatever that might mean. OK - I've started on a new journey. Yet again. Wonder where it will lead me?
Utter depression? Lasting high? Don't seem to be able to do the well-balanced in the middle thing. All or nothing. Tiring, tiresome. For me and for everybody else...
Writing as catharsis - transforming pain into art - if I only could... It would make all that pain worthwhile.
