Oh, Excellent! Tell me what you think. (not read it - but I get the message! )
I had a great lunch with a good friend. We talked about music, politics, religion, etc. At some point I mentioned W&P (I often do ) And...I think I've joined a band. As singer.
The day carried on great. All the right music came on my 'Pod. I stopped at the local deli for some of their great bread, and next dood to Oddbins (so all the staff know me! doesn't mean I'm an alcoholic).
Popped into Cancer Research, and off the shelves leapt:

knows when I'll get round to reading them.

I know that feeling well. I have a massive stack of books to read. (Currently I'm on The Picture of Dorian Grey.)
At the same time as Spirit Level I saw Richard Dawkin's latest. Absolutely excellent.
I might even catch up with the massive backlog of the God Delusion thread so I can discuss it with you all there.

Well...you can always e-mail me. With a precis. See my PS.
I had another good lunch with another good friend today, and Wilkinson and Pickering came up. Later, he sent me a link to a paper he'd read which references them and uses their graphs:

And I've got some work from his company!
We ate in the same 'Desi Cafe' that I ate in recently with pedro - who's also a big fan of W&P. And after he'd left, I had a lovely chat about Islam with the owner, who's ( don't tell Effers!) another of my collection of cool immigrants. He's Moroccan. His drop-dead-gorgeous waitress is Swazi.
Feck! I *love* immigration!
