Hi Ed,
I wanted to let you know how much I like the pink flower that appears in my computer desk whenever I open it.
All pink! it´s like a soft kiss in my mind, so... thanks for sharing that with us.
And what about those microscope photos? have you got any more?

I still haven't played with my microscope. I need to find the software first - and that would require tidying.

I've just remembered...once at work I was discussing with a friend the different names for...the thing that we can't find a suitable name for on h2g2. She said that she didn't like...the word that we *definitely* can't use here. She prefered to call hers her 'flower'.
Well - as you can imagine, this started off a period of floral jokes.
Then, one Friday, she said that her boyfriend was coming back home after working away. So I said to her:
'So...are you doing any gardening this weekend?'
and she said,
'Aye - well, I definitely hope I'm going to get my lawn mowed.'
