I vividly remember my Laurel Canyon Days. I am sure that community must have been Henlein's inspiration for the "moveovers" (wierd alien space critters) from his juvenile novel "Between Planets".

If you don't want to talk about "The Godfather", I understand. The climactic moment in which Pope John Paul I died against a backdrop of violence apparently originating with the "Spider" organization has a measure of explanatory force with respect to the subsequent unusual selection of a non-Italian Pope, though the move had been in the planning stage since the sixties. Real tearjerker of a story in the climax.

Jaysus! And it gets worse. I've hat The Godfather on DVD for about three years now.

Bipolar disorder? I'm not up on that one. I have occasionally been accused seasonal affective depression, to which in my haunts of the Colorado Desert in the American southwest I suggest that it may be a consequence of huddling indoors to avoid the sun-struck mania characteristic of the region.
