Hi Ed,
What with everything that's going on, I'm found myself wondering why people still bother debating with Della. So I thought I'd ask you why you do (I just read the last page on the latest god thread in Ask). I'm not saying you should or shouldn't, and not challenging you that you do, just curious as to why given the way those convos usually go .

Good question. Wish I knew the answer.
Debating practice? Honing skills for dealing with eejits? Know thy enemy? Not wanting her to go unchallenged?
I've learned, for example, that it's no use getting into convoluted dissections and counter-dissections. I just say my piece the way I want to say it. I don't work to her agenda.
She's been quite nasty to me lately, hasn't she? But it seems like my refusal to take offence is really pissing her off. 
And her anti-semitism was so blatant that it was better to leave it stand than have it removed. Which it would have been. It genuinely shocked me! Bigots are normally more cautious.
