Konono No. 1 are playing a local dive/ music venue tonight. I'm annoyed, because I won't be able to go- the show *starts* at 10:00 PM, which is 6 1/2 hours before I get up for work, and I can't pull a sickie tomorrow 'cause I've got to get the payroll done. I'm bummed that I'll miss it. Why does no one ever tell me about these things until the day before?

In fairness to them...it would be inappropriate to start such a gig any earlier. Bummer, though.

Oh, they don't schedule the things... some weeknight gigs start earlier, some late, and I'm sure it's dependent on the neighborhood. It would have been cool to see them, though!
