He's a guy with a walking frame. Could be a Welsh rabbit.

(he said, cryptically).

Never mind. All will, or will not, be revealed.

Well now...

What's the name of a type of walking frame used by the elderly?

But then you'd have to know that this was the original name of...

...a rabbit who shares his name with a famous Welshman.

Do you remember The Magic Roundabout?

I'm a relatively recent convert myself. I only 'got' him a few years ago.

Rundon'twalk to your son's copy of the new 'No Direction Home' DVD (He's bound to have it). It was heavily hyped before it was shown on Beeb4 recently - and for once the hype was justified.

Strangely my son doesn't have a DVD player (I don't think so anyway). We only got one a few weeks back.

he has a birthday coming up . . .

Ah! Well now you'll be needing an amazon.ie dvd rental subscription, so that you can catch up on all the arthouse stuff that you can't get on the high street.

I think I heard that the director of JdeM had a new film out this year...but I don't recall its title. It'll ne linked in imdb.com

btw - I wasn't implying that JdeM was a bad film. I loved it myself! But others of my acquaintance have commented negatively. Apart from the few Catlicks who were instinctively uncomfortable, others complained that some of the symbolism was 'just too obvious.' For me - that was all part of its humour. Eg - when the actor was in a crucifix position on the operating theatre, with his heart exposed - I'm sure it was intended to be gloriously over the top!
