But you don't have football in Australia do you? Well not our kind right? So that doesn't count.

We probably do... but it's just not as big as AFL or something.
In high school, all the guys play AFL and all the girls play netball. That's the stereotypical sport you'd do. I tried netball for a season and hated it. I'm really not athletic at all.smiley - smiley

Me too. If my eyes start misting over and I start babbling about Kurt Cobain or the Red Hot Chili Peppers or the White Stripes, you know I'm completely gone.
I nearly cried the other day when I thought a teacher was going to confiscate my guitar. I'm serious. That's what you get for playing it in homeroom, I guess... smiley - tongueout

Hehe - it was cool fun, though...
I brought it to school for that one day, and played it in the corridors at recess and lunch. Guitars are like people magnets. Almost immediately I was surrounded by people asking me to play stuff, and singing along even when they didn't know the words.
It was great.smiley - biggrin

I got asked if I was a hippie once. It was quite funny - I was sitting by the river in town with David and my friend Kim (who I'd asked to come and stay with me while we were staying in town for a few days).
Anyway - by the river, me and David with our acoustic guitars, me in my pajamas (which are these very baggy, fluro green pants with dancing monkeys on them and a white t-shirt), I'm barefoot, hair loose and very curly, playing my guitar and singing at the top of my voice.
This guy comes up to us and starts talking to us, and then he says to me: Are you a hippie?
It was one of the funniest moments in my life. smiley - biggrin
