No - you don't sound like you're high - although I don't know how you talk normally, so maybe you do. It sounds normal enough to me. It's just the way you talk smiley - biggrin

Did you know that the word Spiffy used to be Spiffing? It's popular in england but when the US got a hold of the word they changed it to spiffy, and put it on US TV shows where it was shiped out to the world, so now it's spiffy and the brittish are like 'NAAAA! You kille our spiffing word!'

Ok this is it...
but its my formatted version, not the one that I gave to my class, this is the one I was going to give to the band so pretend your a band nerd K?
:P here goes, dont laugh at me!

What is the biggest thing you have done this year? Join student council? Win championships in soccer? I’ll tell you what I did. I marched in front of live television cameras in Philadelphia. I performed for more than 2000 people in Reno. But most of all, I became part of the biggest brotherhood in this school.
Most people generalize marching band with a bunch of nerds in uniforms walking around the field to music. But if you go behind the scenes of that group that is there to entertain you during football halftime, you see that we are more than geeks with thick glasses.
I remember the first thing our drum majors ordered us to do at rookie band camp. Stand at attention for about fifteen minutes. You have an itch? You can’t scratch it. It takes that much discipline to ignore that persistent fly that busses around your head, attracted by your body in the summer sun. Discipline is the first and most important part to being a good band. Marching in step, keeping time with the music, all this generates pride, a pride that can only be felt in a group so large.
Now imagine yourself performing in front of the whole school. People are cheering as us step onto the field. Holding your head up high with pride, our spiffy uniforms creating equality among all the other performers. The drum majors hands are up and you become one with the formation. The air is thick with energy, as we take our first step together. The last song comes to an end and as you turn to march off the field to the drummers beat, you hear the crowd’s cheers. Its not about trophies, its not about awards, its about the music. If we have entertained the audience, we have accomplished our goal. To be able to do that with other people, you will have to be close to those you work with. That’s why being in a band is so rewarding; the experiences you share with your classmates.
This band has been the most rewarding experience that I have ever gone through in my whole life. The life long friends you gain along with the knowledge of music and experiences you acquire make the effort worthwhile. True, some days we wont get home until ten at night, and most of our Saturdays go to rehearsal, and we see that we actually don’t mind. You are with a bunch of friends all working together to create the sound our audiences hear, and the visuals they see on the field. Can you imagine having a police escort into Elko? The town cheering you as you step off the bus because you have won state? All that hard work has paid off. You and your band family stand at the top together because of those extra Saturdays and nighttime rehearsals you put into it.
We have all come to find you spend more time with people in band than people whom aren’t in band. If we do well, we cheer together, if we had a bad performance, we cry together. We perform together. We go to places you’ve never been to before together. We are seen by millions together. We are the Elko High School Band of Indians together.

heh there ya go
cheers

YAY! That was really good ford!

Wow! I wish drehfoos had a marching band. smiley - sadface I got a shirt at their orientation (i might have told you this already) and on the front the shirt has a picture of a foot ball and it says 'DREHFOOS FOOTBALL' and then on the back it says 'STILL UNDIFEATED'

............ drehfoos doesn't have a football team............

yes thats right, we're the only high school in FL (i think) that doesn't have one. Because we're all artsy and almost all girls and any of the guys are either too artisticly talented for sports, or their gay and have better things to do then fight over a stupic ball while where ugly shoulder pads in the mud. So... yeah... we have a chess team? And online PE? How does that work. READY! FINGER EXERCISES! and... click 1 click 2 cklick 3 click 4!smiley - winkeye

My school doesn't have a football team either, if that makes you feel any better... smiley - smiley
Man - I wish I went to your school, though. It sounds really cool. Has an odd name, though smiley - biggrin

Did you figure out what the t-shirt was all about? It's rather odd, don't you think?
