hello world (as brian the snail would say)

The world certainly is a big and scary place, and we can all thank our omni-present deitys that we have the Guide.

Mind you the Guide also seems a wee bit scary...

Never mind. I'm doing A levels at the moment, which partly involves spending as little time at college as possible, and putting off major worries about results and having another drink.

It also involves English Lit, the most amazing subject in the world and i defy anyone to dislike it. You sit around and have a good, friendly chat about books. Wonderful. If anyone can tell me about Shakespeare and Co. , in Paris, i'd love to know. My inspired teacher feels we ought to pay a visit- no objections from this quarter.

I firmly believe that a decent coffee shop is just this side of heaven on good day, that there is an art to people watching, finding the best chair in the shop, and that getting the last lovely bits of frothy milk from the bottom of the mug is intensely satisfying especially if you make lots of slurpy noises.

Best cafes in worcester, anyone? There's a lovely one near the cathedral and the porcelain museum, but the nice scottish couple seem to have disappeared. In fact i could probably make a guide entry on the coffee shops of the city ... advice?!

cheers, Tam
