Yeah I saw something on that yesterday morning. Well there is one arguement for gun control. Still it's an isolated occurance where I guy with a loose nut upstairs does something like that, but it does happen. I'm not going to bore you with the reasons I like to have gun ownership. Other than I like to target practice and that's pretty much why I had them.

Well, Kid, you just know that I am going to support gun control... an episode of a show I saw tonight called "Tru Calling" (freaky show about a woman played by Eliza Dushku, who works in a morgue and saves dead people's lives by going back in time) is a good example. In her original day three people got shot, one of them killed, because a cop jumped to a conclusion, and in the replay, Tru managed to talk the cop and the robber out of the shoot out, but it was a close thing.. When so many people have guns, things like that are nerve wracking to say the least!

Well You've got a point.I realize there are many good reasons for gun control. Still I'm not against gun ownership. I can't defend my arguement because some find my position is indefencible me included.

I mean there is to much gun play in Yankland. So one might feel better to have a gun as well. I know it's an old west additude, but it works for me.

So how's the weathe in New Zealand?

The weather here in NZ? Freezing, in the middle of December, which here is summer... Otherwise fine, by which I mean, it's supposed to be getting better in a week.
I see what you mean about having to have guns if everyone else does - but the problem then is, where does it end?

Well I live in Tennessee. Yes it get almost as hot as it does in Texas. It's like living in a oven in the summer. Last summer was nice all the way until the last of August and all of September, then it got hot. Go figure. You can never tell what the weather is going to do. Well it is a woman.

There is no end to it. The gun control thing. I would'nt want the government to take all of them away. If they were to halt all sales of bullets it would almost have the same effect though.

I do hope your weather gets much better for you. Everybody should be able to enjoy at least some summer. It can do nothing but get colder around here. Still it won't last forever. Nice to here from you Addy.

Ah, summer... Did it get so hot you can't sleep, and have pesky mosquitoes buzzing around? I feel I would like that, the way I feel right now, but I know not really.

Well I have air conditioning so it was'mt a problem. We doo get our fair share of mosquitoes. You would'nt like the way it gets here in the summer. It's like breathing through a hot wet sponge. Even sitting still you sweat like . As far as getting cold we do have some real cold winters. The tempetures get below 0'f With a stiff wind it's even worse.

Here it is sunny, warm and overcast with threats of rain. Have you ever played Gran Tourismo II? Lots of fun, I am told..

Gran Turismo? I've heqard about it I think. What kind of game is it? I use to have a Flight simulater game F-18. It was great I could land on an aircraft carrier and stuff. I got rather good at landing on the carrier manually without the auto land feature they have on the real F-18's. I was'nt any good at air to air combat. and if a missle locked on me I was toast but I loved playing it. I plan to get the game again. Very realistic it was. It made me feel quizy once like I was in a plane in RL.

Here in Memphis it has turned cold. I was prepared for it either. At lease the other day when I had to go get my paycheck. The wind was blowing hard out of the north west. and it was coooold. Still it's not as bad as our northern neibours. So I guess it always be worse. Good to here things are more like summer down there for you Lass.

Your Flight Simulator game sounds good.

Yeah I loved the simulator thing. I have one now. It's with Korean war planes. No Carriers though. I can fly a lot of different kinds of planes though. Like the MIG-15 and more. Them planes back then were a lot harder to fly than the ones they have now. You can't hardly lose control of the new planes. The older jets twas nothing to lose control of them. One wrong move and you'er out of control.

Yeah it even it getting colder now. We have some pretty cold winters arond here. I mean like -13 Farinheit. Tha's without wind chill. add that in and it's really COLD. I glad you talk to me Addy. I've always thought you were nice even when I got you mad at me. Toodles

Wow, 13 Fahrenheit! I always think of Tennessee as hot, but I should probably be thinking of Florda - with swamps and that strange hanging plant life - I sometimes watch CSI Miami...
My son Jim is playing a game called Red Alert: Command and Conquer now - it's about armies and such, and I am listening to the soundtrack, which is quite odd! My other son sent him dozens of computer games on CD in about October.

That's -13' Farenheit. In the summertime. we get hot and humid. To the point of ad nauseam. We always have temps in the mid 90s add in the humidity factor and it's in the 100s everyday from July till September. It gets hard to breath. You can be sitting still and sweat. It is terrible. I never had a car with air conditioning and it's like riding in a clothes dryer.

I have'nt tried any of those types of games. A friend of mine likes to play them but I can't transfer myself into the game. I like to see things in the first person. Like a flight simulater does. That way I can get into the game better.
