To err on the side of caution is always preferable to rushing in where Angels fear to tread.
I am always open to new ideas and friends, though I only let one close to me who lives the American dream, and also understands my tenets as well as I now myself. An ocean and a continenet of seperation is both safe and less than ideal.
Everything I would expect others to know of me is in my PS. I have no doubt you have studied, it is candid and totally ingenuous.
Working this weekend? I'm not, so it's off to the beach for me October and the opportunity to tan my backside

I need to look after my body. I havent tanned myself properly for years and its all because i am not confident in myself. There are so many places around me that i can go to and so many things i can do and i am not making the most of it.
Indeed it is difficult to tread into the unknown. I have an image of you and i hope i am not far wrong.
I am not sure i am able to provide you with new ideas but will surely try
hmm...apologies for saying "i"ten times. How self-absorbed that sounds...

lease continue and use 'I' as many times as you wish. It is about you and letting others know something of yourself is both candid and ingenuous. It is how people build trust with one another, it is a good basis for friendship, the truth being whatever others would care to believe about me, that is always my objective. Yours on the other hand I still don't fully understand but whatever you are comfortable with is ok by me
We al have times of self confidence and lack of self esteem. I am usually very good at restoring that self esteem, though I very rarely let anyone get 'that' close to me It's a simple self defence mechanism it's harmless See American friends some have the unique ability to gain immediate trust, including Robyn (No there, more of a mate ) Your role is difficult to define, since I don't really know you, though as you begin to open up and trust me more, the more is reciprocated - equity !
Thus never feel guilty about talking about yourself, I am very good at listening and responding appropriately

(simple unrelated question - your favourite type of music?)
i am sure my objectives will become clear to you eventually. I will tell you something that may sound strange...
My experiences are based more on what i see and hear than what i read. I prefer to show my thoughts rather than explanations because i frequently struggle to find words that sum them up in nutshells. It may be a lack of social experience, i dont know.
I have no problems hearing what you have to say on whatever you wish to disclose. I wont attempt to pressure you. I dont judge people by their differences. Once a friend i remain a loyal one to anyone who takes the time to understand me

I'll answer the first question first, since that is the simplist and can be answered simply - Indie Rock for contemporary tastes. Snow Patrol would be a good example. I do like 80's music, you should listen to Donnie Darko, what some great tracks Depends what my mood is, B52's the 'Good Stuff' if I'm in a less chilled mood
The remander of what you said It would appear we share many values. There are things I keep hidden myself, mainly concerning my deepest held tenets. There are only two peope I have shared that with, and most certainly not in a public forum such as this, so you'll have to excuse me I I don't elaborate on that one further. It is reserved for American friend and Robyn - as previously explained. Nothing sinister, just deeply personal

i wouldn't disclose my deepest secrets on here either. That would be the silliest thing even for my standards.
So, another 20 mile walk today?
The weekend is nearly over and another week of work is due. I wonder what surprises there are in store...
I shall take your advice and ask questions that would perhaps be more suitable for "hootoo". I shall take some time to think of some tomorrow

I have given you the option of Though I have to warn, anything sent via is as open as sending a postcard via steam post for those who know how
You will, no doubt, notice the cahnge from brunel to alabaster (or is it the other way around) since I am now back at work following a glorious sabbatical Long walks in the countryside, time on the beach to recuperate, and a day in the fields yesterday treasure hunting No treasure this time , though a very nice medieval 'Henry' silver penny.
