icelight - now with your choice of tagline
This page has been updated - once - but yet again I have little time to spend on this introduction.
I'm now in the final year of school, and have far less work than last year. I'm studying English, History and Latin, and have applied to Cambridge to read history... interview result pending.
My main interest is reading, and for courtesy's sake here's a list of favourites:
Terry Pratchett - fantasy/comedy
Patrick O'Brian - historical novelist
PD James - crime
JK Rowling - as cliche as it is, I do like her
PG Wodehouse - enormously funny even if all his plots are the same
Douglas Adams - why do you think I ever came onto the site?
More pretentious books read at A level: Chaucer, Shakespeare Austen - all good
Less pretentious books read at A-level: Catch 22
History books - the interview's done, the coursework isn't...more reading on Oliver Cromwell.
and finally... Dodie Smith's I capture the Castle - still my favourite book. Discuss - if you dare/care

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
