Unfortunately the appointment is at 4:40, which is inconvenient as can come home for a bi t and then leave again. This appointment is a follow up for one I had before Christmas about he bizarre lump in my chest. Doc doesn't think its' serious but said to come back if it hadn't cleared up by the new year. It's been there for a long time, so I was fairly sure it wasn't going to disappear just cos I'd been to the doctor
I'm also going to see him as I perspire a fair bit just walking to school/around town. Nothing I've tried seems to make a difference : walking quickly/slowly, blazer on/off, having had coffee/no coffee, different anti-pespirants etc doesn't make a bit of difference so I'm going to get the checked out as well and see what the good doc says.
Right, I'm off to do more mind-mapping now.

Not sure if you've been there already or not yet, as I never really know how many hours I need to add or substract, but good luck anyway, I hope the sorts you out quick and good.

Was a touch late for my appointment as I was helping my sister set up here new laptop and got distracted by the shininess of it.*
Doc looked at lump in chest and has now referred me to a surgeon who will give his expert opinion it. He'll probably say come back in sixth months and then s/he'll probably do something about it. Why I have to wait another six months I don't know. It's been there for ages, it's not gonna go just cos I'm seeing a surgeon!
And the doc has prescribed what appears to be super-strength deodorant which I need to pick up tomorrow.
*They put some rubbish on computers these days!

"I was helping my sister set up here new laptop"
Interesting use of the word 'helping' there...
Does the laptop still work?

I know, his poor sister probably got 5mins look at it before MP had wiped the disk, stuck some weird flavour of Linux on it and downloaded a dozen or so programs to 'make it run better'
I believe there is now a clause in the warrenty document that invalidates it if MP has been within 3 foot of it
(he's gonna kill me for that...)

Yes it still works! And I was tempted to put TinyCoreLinux on it
As it was I left it with Windows 7 and a whole host of crap uninstalled!

Unlike windows...

Shall do.
I have a joke about doctors actually (nicked from eh joke thread)
I just got back from the hospital. They reckon I've got pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanocionosis, but at the moment, it's hard to say.

An ultra tiny volcano in your lungs?
Would you describe it as more etna or Yellowstone?
Also i wish i'd left windows 7 uninstalled on my laptop, all it lets me do at the moment is look at my documents, cant actually change anything

Got another doctors appointment next Tuesday in the morning, so I miss a bit of school. Hopefully s/he'll actually do something and not go, "wait a few months". Although they *may* do some tests. One of them involves sticking a needle into my chest, I'm not sure I want a needle stuck into a sore part of my chest. Anyway, they might not even do the tests.
I'll let you know how it went some time on Tuesday. Unless its deadly. In which case I'll contact you from beyond the grave. Mala's had some experience with ghosts, she can be official translator

I saw my doctor today, who basically said "you don't have to stop doing anything that isn't very risky, so sport should be fine"
Except that i do rowing as my sport, and i can't see yet whether the pills he gave me do anything to control what he thinks is epilepsy.
Note, if you see Mala, you must talk to her in Irish
