Hey you with the. I have been called to take the Royal children on a wildlife adventure. We'll be back on Saturday and I can regale you with tales of saving wildlife and battling enviro-villans.
Take care

Hello, did you survive? Did you get your bleep cleaned out? I managed to survive my camping trip, it was a blast. We went to the Kettle River, its really nice there. Left just at the right time too, when all the partiers arrived. Lots of squirrels and chipmunks added a cute sort of disney-esque quality, however we did not see snow white singing in the woods or anything.
The kids really had fun, but had to be persuaded somewhat that they could entertain themselves without tv etc etc. We went swimming and walking and I got a sunburn! (ooo the year of living dangerously)
I hope you are doing fine. Hope to hear soon if you are still computing. take care

Oh yes Maureen, I'm still computing (unfortunately still procratinating somewhat too-meaning, no I haven't gotten this thing cleaned out! I'll have to see about lighting a fire under someone's butt either Sun. or Mon...I suppose my own included).
Glad you had a good time & managed to leave before the partiers. We just had a thunderstorm here so I was offline for awhile, but I'm back now. Hope that sunburn isn't too bad. (careful) (careful) Calomine lotion for the sunburn & diabetic , etc

Have you set your butt on fire yet? How are you doing? I haven't been feeling well, so little time on the computer. Its been raining and then hot here, which makes it a little confusing in terms of trying to figure out what to do.
Very quiet day. Took my son to Penticton to get him his birthday present. Guess what, he wanted a Gameboy advance! My ex has his knickers in a knot, so had to deal with that. Same old same old.
Talk soon

No fortunately I think my butt's fire-proof (on 2nd thought, let's Not test that-please!) I know, it's been rainy (although only periodically-then Deluge!!) & then reasonably hot here too. What's worse is that my apt. has east-facing windows & really seems to hold that morning heat! So; pretty constant sweat, fan goin' around the clock (frequently a 2nd fan), lotsa ice-water, etc.
Yeah, quiet day here too, meeting a friend at Bonnie Doon Mall tomorrow...otherwise not too much goin' on. Might need to get crackin' on the computer upgrading!
& diabeticin a little cooler so it won't melt!

Dont worry, I promise not to light your fire. Thanks for the. Are you doing all right? I'm taking the kid to the lake today, because she's bored and its way too annoying. She just finished blowing raspberries on the back of my neck , while I'm sitting here.
Otherwise all quiet on the western front.
take care

Hi Maureen luv! Yeah I'm doin' fine, it's been a bit cooler here which is great (about 18 C right now, 24 C yesterday), so I'm a "happy camper" so to speak. Aww shucks, I was hopin' for a little fire! Enjoy the lake, I've gotta do some birthday shopping. I was out the other day & thought "...am I forgetting something? - in the way of birthdays -...uh, no I don't think so!" Then my brother called mid-morning & told me they're having a party for his 14 yr old daugher Fri. evening. (One of those " Argh-Knew I was forgetting something!!" moments!) So I assume we'll be heading out to Sylvan Lake for that. Otherwise fairly quiet here too.
You take care too luv & we'll chat soon!

I've been to Sylvan lake!. We used to live in Red Deer when I was a kid. Back then though it was just full of hippies. I understand its quite developed now. Hope you managed to find a present. When I was a kid you could go skinny dipping there.
I was just looking on the web at websites for Pete Seeger and Arlo Guthry. It started cuz we saw a commercial for square dancing and went on from there. I met them once when I worked at the airpor in Vancouver. One of the Immigration officers asked Pete Seeger if he was related to Bob Seager. I called the officer a dimwit. It could explain my lack of upword mobility in the federal gov't. I was so awe inspired, I couldn't even ask for an autograph.
We went to the lake today. It's not too bad here. At least at the lake we get a cool breeze and then we went for icecream. Which I'm not supposed to eat, but I do.
Take it easy. Have fun at the part...oh right that's friday.
talk to you soon
