My name is Feisor and I am an ACE (Assistant Community Editor) here at h2g2 and I AM a real person, not an automated rely not an automated reply not an automated reply .
Welcome to h2g2 – not just the friendliest on-line community but an incredibly huge resource about Life, The Universe and Everything – compiled by researchers just like you
I hope when you get to know us a little better you'll open your personal space and tell us a little about yourself - but there's no rush - and it's not compulsory
We ACEs are volunteers here to assist new researchers so if you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask.
You can leave a message on my space just by clicking on my name at the top of this message or by hitting the reply button below - it won't hit back (usually).
I have made a "Hints and Links for New Researchers" page at <./>A719840</.> - if you go there it will lead you to all sorts of places which will help find your way around and get to know this wonderful place
It should keep you busy for a while I am sure that you will love this community as much as we do There's lots of things to see, clubs to join and people to meet - please don't be shy - just jump right in - this is a friendly place. But be careful - it can become quite addictive - believe me I know
Enjoy!!
Have fun!!!
and above all !!!
Feisor

I can't help with your application but things here sometimes take a little time ... so be patient
I am assuming that you've seen the CommunityArtists page
Have you had a look at <./>GuideML-PictureLibrary</.> ??

One more question. I have written my first article about silver, how do I get it listed in the right section. Is this done by editors, or do I have to link or copy it to the appropiate section?

Have you submitted it for Peer Review? There's a button at the top of the article - once it gets accepted for the editted Guide it will all be looked after.
I think, in the meantime, it will come up in a search - but you can check that for yourself - I'll be interested to look at it when I have a little more time.
Good Luck!!

I have an article in the writing workshop, but I dont see anything happening. Who reads the artilces in the workshop and what do they do once they have? Is it anyones job to work on the entries, or is it just the general h2g2 members?

I'll see what I can do - but all the sub-editors are volunteers, there may be lots on the plate for them .... I'm sure that someoen will look at it asap - but as I said, I'll see what I can do .........

All I wanted was to know how the writing workshop operated, I do not need the sub-editiors to lool at my work especilly. The article "Precious Metal Clay" is now in peer review. Type PMC to search for it in h2g2.
Thanks
