Yeah, I'm back at school now. It's so much better than living in Athens. There's so much to do here! And not only that but I don't have to constantly answer to my parents like when I'm back home...

Now if I could just do something about the classes and homework, I'd be set. I guess for the moment I'll just keep trying to get the stuff done on time and use whatever time I have left over for playing my guitar and falling down at high rates of speed.

have you done any jumps lately? and i'm sure you've mentioned, but which campus are you on? i'm going to be up near uic this weekend, but you're in souther illinois, aren't you?

Last time I jumped was a couple of weeks ago... all skydiving operations are still shut down as part of VFR general aviation. Hopefully the FAA will let us go this weekend.

I'm at UIUC, in Champaign, which is 100 or so miles south of Chicago. It's a manageable drive for students here to visit Chicagoland though. Anyway, if you're ever in the central Illinois area, let me know. I don't check in here all that often but you can get a hold of me at [email protected] whenever.

well, chicago was a busy weekend. drove up on friday afternoon, back on saturday afternoon. hubby had to attend a mentor training class so i had the morning to amuse myself downtown. i had planned to spend some time on navy pier and museum campus, but discovered that the batteries in my camera were dead and ended up spending half of my morning walking around the loop looking for a walgreens or somewhere that sold camera batteries. by the time i got down to the pier i only had about an hour, so i shopped a bit before meeting hubby after his class.

hubby is mentoring for his nephew who is going to school in rantoul which i understand is near champaign. he is required to see his nephew at least once a month, so i'll probably be up that way sometime before christmas. i'll email you if i find i'll be up that way with time to kill

So is it Saturday yet? Arrgh... this weather is killing me, all week it's beautiful, and I can't jump until the weekend...

That's till the 10 a.m. load takes off, with me on it...

It's gonna be 75 and sunny ALL WEEKEND. From 10 a.m. tomorrow until we decide to leave on Sunday, I plan on getting a good 8 or 10 jumps in... ahhhh what a great weekend awaits...
